Other highlights include carnaroli risotto with aged Castelmagno cheese, and a tender filetto di cervo encased in a hazelnut crust, which perfectly combine textures and flavours.
There’s a take on the classic Italian dolci – fiordilatte ice cream for dessert. The sweet treat is made with chestnut and lifted with white truffle for an indulgent autumnal pudding. While diners enjoy the white truffle menu, they’ll also be impressed by the Italian restaurant’s setting. Belcanto is found in a spacious, elegant room at the very top of the famous Opera building, a space swathed with rich maroons and crimsons.
It also hosts live entertainment to accompany its sophisticated Italian dishes. There’s an in-house jazz band, while international singers, pianists, and double bass players frequently take to the stage.
